Who should apply?
- Graduates with a Bachelor degree. A very good level of French or English is required.
How to apply:
- Candidates must submit a completed application form with a copy of their secondary school final certificate, marks sheet, CV and cover letter explaining why you are interested in this course.
If you are eligible you will:
- have to write a summary essay: you will have to write an essay summarising the main points of extracts and cuttings from magazines specialised in contemporary cultural, economic and social topics. The aim of this test is to highlight your composition and editorial abilities, and to measure your capacities of understanding, analysis and synthesis.
- be interviewed: based on your CV, this interview will be held in the company of a jury, composed of the course leader or his/her representative, and a member of the faculty of ESC Bretagne Brest. The aim of this interview is to assess your motivation, your ability to listen, to construct an oral dialogue, to measure your ease, your sincerity, your general level of culture, your intellectual curiosity, your openmindedness, and again your analytical and synthesis abilities. Duration: 30 minutes.
- The decision of the final selection of successful candidates is made by the jury. Several recruitment sessions are scheduled between March and September at ESC Bretagne Brest. Personal visits can be arranged, particularly if the candidates are unable to attend the open days (3 per year) of ESC Bretagne Brest.
